Faith Bible Church Values

We keep the main thing, the main thing.  Jesus is the center of all we do.  If it is not promised by Him, commanded by Him, and commissioned by Him, it is not from Him nor will it be part of our lives or ministry.

We are all about the “SHIPS”.  Godly LeaderSHIP that is passionately involved in DiscipleSHIP will produce RelationSHIP that will enable us to experience FellowSHIP that will continually lead us to the ChampionSHIP of Christ.

We are not participating in a recreation church league.  This is serious.  Getting people to simply participate is not our goal.  We are selected to compete for the prize.  We are a mission team not a social club.  We are in it to win it.

Nothing takes the place of the anointing.  The presence of the Holy Spirit is a reality in every aspect of ministry and everyday living.  Nothing happens without His touch.  All we do is dependent on the supernatural power of God.

We reject the small town church label.  God is far too big, His command too strong, and the lost are too many to keep “this” between the city limit signs.

We celebrate God breathed, knee-buckling, jaw dropping faith.  We will not embrace the ordinary things of man but rather the Supernatural things of God.

We crave unity in the community.  Jesus told us to be one.  We will strain every ligament to keep unity.  We hate spirits, attitudes and actions that undermine family or ministry and divide the body or people from their purpose.

We are Missionators.  We walk out, breathe in and celebrate the commands and commission of Jesus to go into the world and love enough to make disciples. We reach the lost.  We are on divine mission and assignment for Jesus.

We are worshippers. Our gifts, callings and ministry plans will not replace our created purpose to worship the living God.  We will embrace all holy means to bring and live worship unto our God.

We will always give our best to Christ and His body. Laziness, lack of effort, incompetence, and waste will not be justified in religious lies by saying “God knows my heart”.  Our God and His people deserve our excellence.

We do the math.  Numbers do matter to us. We love God and people enough to be willing to allow a few, who only want their way, to leave so that others can come to know Christ.  Everyone counts especially those who have been counted out.

We choose to go higher.  We walk in the higher ways of God, we will not wallow in a pit with the bottom feeders but will follow Jesus in His invitation to go exceedingly abundantly beyond what we can ask or think.  We will go higher in love, generosity, obedience and conversation.
